Italian conjugation patterns

Three endings, predictable rhythms—Italian loves a good vowel pattern.

-are verbs (parlare, mangiare)

Present: -o, -i, -a, -iamo, -ate, -ano. The theme vowel stays audible in every form.

-ere verbs (vedere, scrivere)

Stem changes are common; loop one verb family before mixing irregulars like essere and avere.

-ire verbs (dormire, capire)

Some add -isc- in certain forms (capisco, capisci)—music helps catch the extra syllable.

Passato prossimo next

Once present feels solid, move to passato prossimo with essere vs avere auxiliaries—Rhythmica drills each pattern separately.
